Pre-Judging Points
During the lead-up to the event the delegates will be judged on a criterion of constant evaluation based on the following:
Attendance- The ambassadors will be judged on their attendance at rehearsals during the lead-up to the event, and their presence at functions relative to the event. If you are absent at any time for anything, you can't accumulate any points at all. If you have to be absent for a good reason that can be corroborated by your chaperon or parent BEFORE the occasion in question, then you will be awarded average points for the date on which you were absent.
Every time you are present = 100 pointsAbsence sanctioned by parent or chaperon = 65 pointsAbsent =0 points

Punctuality – The participants will be judged for every occasion at the time at which they appear. If you are generally late without a detailed reason from either your chaperon or parent, then pre-judging points will be deducted accordingly. However, if a contestant is late, and we the organizers are also late, being present before the arrival of the organizers equals being on time and no points will be lost. If you are late you automatically lose 25 prejudging points. This is noted as a register will be taken at each rehearsal. For every 15 minutes, you are late after the prescribed time of the occasion, contestants will lose 10 points. If you are late with an early explanation from a parent or chaperon, then you receive average points.
Early or before the organizers = 100 points Late corroborated by parent or chaperon = 75 points Late (within 15 mins) = 75 points Late = 75 -10 points for every 15mins late
Deportment – The contestants will be judged on their appearance every time they appear at a rehearsal or function related to the CROWNING GALA. You should always look like an ambassador for your entire school roll, principal and staff. If you choose to wear the same outfit every time, once it is appropriate, this might be a problem to other contestants but will amass you the necessary points in this category. Hair, shoes, dress, and jewellery (excess) will all be areas under scrutiny, and generally looking presentable is the main objective here. Simple casual wear is acceptable, heels for girls are mandatory whether worn or brought, and males must all wear formal shoes during rehearsals.
We do not have a broken-down points scheme for this category, and contestants will all be awarded 100 points generally, and lose points in increments of 10 for obviously poor sense of style and deportment.

Congeniality & Compatibility - The competitors will be constantly assessed for their interactive skills during rehearsals, and their general acceptance of their fellow man. There may be a general feeling of superiority and inferiority between some schools and both are unacceptable. You will be assessed on your ability to show every contestant equal concern, friendliness and care. The tendency to stick to your friends, and ignore others, isolating yourself from the whole group, or needing to be the centre of attention are all areas in which each contestant should be cautious, as the entire individual is being scrutinized here. You should be willing to share thoughts and conversations with every contestant, not making harmful fun of anyone. Genuine attempts to assist one another are encouraged, and instructions from the organizers should be executed promptly and willingly, asking questions when you are not sure about anything.
Again here we do not have a broken-down points scheme for this category, and contestants will all be awarded 100 points generally, and lose points in increments of 10 for obviously poor attitude, but we reserve the right to deduct points for any rude behaviour, harmful comments to one another, or blatant discrimination, or disqualify you from the competition completely.

Dedication- The delegates will be appraised for their dedication to the representation of your school based on their actions and efforts to make the event pleasant and easier for everyone. This might involve one or more deeds like negotiating a prize from a sponsor for eventual winners or negotiating a sponsor of the event where personal gain is not the focus, selling numerous tickets personally, assisting another contestant you know to be in need, or supplying any need you identify during the lead up to the event. Each contestant will be awarded 50 points per rehearsal and will accumulate points based on your contributions to the CROWNING GALA, or your fellow contestants.
